Caramel Custard
Ingredients:
Milk:-2 cups
Eggs:-2
Sugar:1/4 cup
Sugar:-3 tbsp
METHOD:
- Melt 3 tbsp sugar on low heat until it turns a deep brown.
- While still hot, pour the caramel into the moulds and set aside.
- Beat the eggs with the sugar thoroughly.
- Boil the milk. While boiling, pour the egg-sugar mixture and beat vigorously until well blended. There should be no lumps.
- Beat again and pour into the mould.
- Cover the mould with a piece of aluminium foil.
- Steam cook the custard on very low heat for 30-45 minutes.
- Cool it and serve chilled.
- Just before serving, turn the mould over on to the plate and remove the mould.
