Shahi Paneer/Creamy paneer gravy

Ingredients:

Paneer:-1/2 block(makes nearly 15 small cubes)

Onion Big:-1

Tomato:-1

Kasturi Methi:-2 tbsp

Milk:-1/2 cup

Jeera:-1/2 tsp

Chilli powder,Salt:-as per taste

Butter:-1 inch cube

Oil:-1 tsp

Green chillies:-3

Turmeric Powder:-1/2 tsp

GG Paste:-1 tbsp

Coriander leaves:-to garnish

METHOD:

  • Add oil and melt butter together.Add little oil to butter helps to avoid butter to burn.
  • Add jeera and let it splutter.
  • Add Chopped onions and fry a while.
  • Add gg paste and slit green chillies and fry till raw smell is off.
  • Add kasturi methi and turmeric powder and mix well.
  • Add chopped tomato and cook till soft.
  • Let the mixture cool a bit and grind it with milk to a very smooth paste.
  • Add the paste back to paste and add water,salt,chilli powder and make a sauce.
  • Add cubed paneer and cook on slow heat with closed lid for 10 min.
  • Cook till desired consistency and garnish with coriander.
  • Serve hot with roti.
