Chana Pulav



Ingredients:

Whole raw chana dal:-1/2 cup
Basmati Rice:-1 cup
Ghee:-2 tbsp
Julienned onions:-1/2 cup
Mint chopped:-2 tbsp
Corinader powder:-1 tbsp
GG Paste:-1 tbsp
Salt n chillipowder:- as per taste
METHOD:
  • Soak chana overnight.
  • Drain n pressure cook chana till soft but not mushy.
  • Wash n soak basmati rice in 2 cups of water for 30 min.
  • Heat ghee in a kadai and add onions and fry till pink.
  • Add gg paste,mint,chana and fry.
  • Add coriander powder,salt n chilli powder and mix well.
  • Transfer the contents to the soaked rice and mix well and cook till done.
  • Serve with onion raitha.

Palak Matar Paneer


Ingredients:

Paneer cubes:-1/2 cup
Frozen peas:-1/2 cup
Baby spinach:-1/2 pack
Salt n chilli powder:- as per taste
Turmeric powder:-1/2 tsp
GG Paste:-1/2 tbsp
Oil:-2 tbsp
Jeera:-1/2 tsp
Onion Paste:-1/2 cup
Coriander leaves:-to garnish
coriander powder:-1/2 tbsp
Coconut milk(optional)(1/2 cup)
METHOD:
  • Heat oil in a kadai and add jeera.
  • Add onion paste and fry till pink.
  • Add gg paste and fry.
  • Add chopped palak and fry till its wilted.
  • Add paneer,peas and all powders and fry a while.
  • Add little water if needed.(i had lot of water from palak..so didnt add water)
  • Close lid and let it cook till done on medium flame.
  • Add coconut milk(optional) and cook for 2 min.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves and serve with roti or rice.

Chicken Pakodi/Pakora/Deep fried Chicken Fritters

Ingredients:
Chicken Thighs(cut into small pieces):-1/2 lb
GG Paste:-1 tbsp
Turmeric powder:-1/2 tsp
Garam masala:-1/2 tsp
Gram Flour:-1/2 tbsp
Rice flour:-2 tbsp
Baking soda:-1 pinch
Red food colour:- optional
Green chillies,salt,chilli powder:- as per taste
Oil:-to deep fry
METHOD:
  • Mix everything(except oil) with little water.
  • Deep fry chicken pieces in hot oil .
  • Drain on paper towel and serve hot with onion rings and lemon wedges.

    Chicken Burger with curried chicken

    Ingredients:

    Chicken Thigh:-1/2 lb
    Chopped onion:-1/2 cup
    Tomato:-1
    Ginger garlic paste:- 1tbsp
    Salt n chilli powder:-as per taste
    Oil:-2 tbsp
    Garam masala:-1 tsp
    Turmeric powder:-1/2 tsp
    Green chillies:-2
    Burger Buns
    lettuce leaves,onion rings,zucchini slices,capsicum :- as needed  to stuff in burger.

    METHOD:
    • Heat oil in a kadai and add choped onions and fry till pink
    • Add gg paste and fry a min and add chicken,slit green chillies,turmeric powder,salt and fry till cooked.
    • Add chopped tomato and cook till done.
    • Add garam masala,chilli powder and fry till dry.
    • Toast the burger buns either on stove top or in oven.
    • Spread the veggies and add the chicken curry and serve warm.

    Oatmeal walnut chocolate chip cookies

    Ingredients:

    Instant Rolled Oats:-4 tbsp
    All Purpose flour:-2 tbsp
    Baking powder:-1/8 tsp
    Egg white:-2 tbsp
    Chopped walnuts:-3 tbsp
    Chocolate chips:-3 tbsp
    Softened butter:-1 tbsp
    Vanilla extract:-1 tsp
    Cinnamon powder:-1/8 tsp
    METHOD:
    • Mix everything and drop spoonful of mix on cookie sheet and bake in preheated(350F) oven for 5-6 minutes.
    • Cool on wire rack and serve warm.
