Chilli chicken/Chicken fritters in spicy sauce
Ingredients:
Boneless chicken:-1 lb
Corn starch:-2 tbsp
Maida/All purpose flour:- 1 tbsp
Corn starch:- 2 tsp( mixed in 4 tbsp of water)
Chilli sauce:-3 tbsp
Chopped garlic:- 1 tbsp
Chopped ginger:- 1 tbsp
Chopped onion:- 1/2 cup
Chopped capsicum:-1/4 cup
slit green chillies:- to garnish
oil:- to deep fry
For Marinade:
GG Paste:2 tbsp
Salt and chilli powder:- as per taste
Coriander powder:-1 tbsp
Chopped coriander:- 2 tbsp
Vinegar:-1 tbsp
Soy sauce:-1 tbsp
Egg:-1
METHOD:
- Cut chicken into bite size pieces.
- Mix marinade well and apply to chicken and set aside for 3 hrs,prefarably overnight.
- Heat oil in a kadai and deep fry chicken and drain excess oil on paper towel.
- Heat 2 tbsp of oil in another kadai and fry garlic,ginger,onion,capsicum one after other.
- Add chilli sauce and chicken and mix well.
- Add cornstarch water and mix well till everything comes together.
- Garnish with green chilli and serve hot.
